I’ve always believed that a well-designed space has the power to completely transform the way we live. Even back in college, I gravitated toward architecture and interior design, fascinated by how materials, finishes, and thoughtfully crafted details could shape an experience. Today, with more than 17 years of experience, that passion has evolved into MLDesign Interiors. In this studio, architectural vision and interior design come together to create spaces that feel elevated, welcoming, and uniquely personal. My work is rooted in a simple philosophy: Good design is not decoration, it’s a balance of beauty, function, and intention. It’s problem-solving with creativity. It’s understanding how people truly live. And it’s crafting solutions that feel effortless, thoughtful, and distinctly you.
My Background
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Universidad Piloto de Colombia and a Master’s in Interior Architectural Design from California State University, Long Beach — where I graduated with honors and earned awards including the Institute of Store Planners Student Retail Design Award and the Distinguished Achievement in Creative Activity Award from the College of the Arts at CSULB.
My career spans California, South Florida, and Denver, leading residential, hospitality, and commercial projects from concept to completion. Across all phases — design, visualization, documentation, and implementation — I bring a hands-on approach supported by technical expertise, strong spatial understanding, and a refined eye for materiality.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and with a creative background in photography, fashion, and graphic design, I approach every project through a lens of artistry, detail, and storytelling.
